AGUR’S PROPHECY DISPELS KJVO-VPP
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto
them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he
reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. (Prov
30:5-6)
We love the King James Bible but proponents of KJVO-Verbal
Plenary Preservation have gone too far and too extreme in their claims.
They should heed Agur’s prophecy in Prov 30.
Where does God’s Word say that: -
1.
English is the singly blessed language of the world for Bible
translations and missions?
2.
Of all English Bibles, the KJB 1611 is most exceptionally
special, being perfected either in its English, or perfected in its
underlying Hebrew-Aramaic-Greek texts, or both!!?
3.
The texts of the Bible were lost / not fully preserved until
perfectly restored in 1611?
a.
Where does it say the texts were lost / not fully preserved?
b.
Where does it say that 1611 would be the prophetic year for
perfect restoration?
4.
All other MSS (apograph manuscripts) and texts are imperfect and
to be rejected as source evidences to the Original Divinely Inspired
Autographs?
Indeed there is no, not even a single mention of KJV
in the entire Bible.
Our text instead rather says that: -
1.
Every word of God is pure: he is a
shield unto them that put their trust in him.
He is a shield unto them that put their
trust in him: In the words of Peter at Cornelius’ house, “Of a truth
I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he
that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.”
(Acts 10:34-35)
God is no respecter of persons. In all
nations and languages, everyone that fears God and puts his trust in
Him, will find Him a shield and salvation. Our God Omnipotent and
Sovereign would not have allowed His missionaries throughout history to
have brought His pure Word to the world in an incompetent, impotent
manner, which necessitates re-translation of all non-English Bibles into
the KJV text all over again today!
2.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he
reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
Sadly, KJVO-VPP proponents have added to
God’s Word and now stand reproved. All the evidences do not bear up
their extravagant claims. They cannot prove that the KJV is jot and
tittle perfect in either VPP or Ruckmanite sense! Instead, the
evidences clearly disprove KJV-VPP. As an example, see “An
Evidential Review of the VPP Hypothesis.”
